FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for each custom formula?

We have flexible equipment capacity so no order is too small for us. However, all orders need to follow through USFDA Dietary Supplement CGMP regulations, which requests test all raw materials and finished product’s identity, strength, purity and composition, the smaller the number of orders, the higher testing cost per unit of product. A small batch production is not cost effective for all required tests.

 

2. What certifications does Albert Max, Inc. have?

Do you support applying export documents? Our products are manufactured in a both Federal and California FDA registered, third party cGMP-certified facility. Please visit our Certifications for more details. Depending on different requirements from different countries, we assist our customers to apply for exporting documents such as Country of Origin (COO), Free Sale Certificates, Manufacturer Certificate, Export Certificate, Health Certificate, etc. Please understand clearly the importing countries regulation and let us know what documents you need.

 

3. Do you offer private label vitamins and supplements that I can sell under my own brand?

Yes we do. We have a complete selection of existing formulas and products in stock for you to private label your own brand. This is probably the quickest way for you to enrich your nutritional supplements business and create your own products line. You may quickly start your brand store with various of items with a relatively small quantity of each item. Please Request a Quote.

 

4. If I already have a formula and I want to make it into a commercial product, what service can you provide?

First, you could use our Request a Quote page or Contact Us page to let us know your basic information, such as what type of products you wish to make? Capsules, tablets, etc… We will contact you to sign a Confidentiality and Nondisclosure Agreement (NDA). After that, we will review each of your ingredients and dosage, making sure all of them can be used as dietary supplement ingredients and formulated within a safety limits. Then depending on the complexity of your formula and quantity of your projected lot size, it may take several days for our R&D staff to define the technical specification of all your ingredients and source the correct materials for you. All of these processes are necessary to make your product in compliance with FDA regulations. Whether you will provide the raw material ingredients, or you need us to source for you, all ingredients need to pass the specification standards and all required tests.When all raw materials sources are confirmed, we will provide you with our quotes and lead time. When you placed the order, we will work with you in a very close manner to keep you informed the production processes. Your product is carefully designed, formulas are accurately calculated and materials are strictly selected. Our process gives you full confidence to promote your supreme product!

 

5. Can I provide my own raw materials for custom formulations?

Yes. However each material must meet the specification standard and needs to be tested for identity, strength, purity, and composition based on the latest USFDA and cGMP Guidelines. Also, a Certificate of Analysis must be approved for use in our formulations, and a sample should be sent ahead of time to confirm the density and test method.

 

6. How do I get a label for my custom product?

Labels are consist of art design part and contents part. Generally, customer is expected to provide your own art designs, if not, we may provide you our existing designs for you to select. We will be responsible for your label contents parts to make sure all contents listed on the label meet your product specification meanwhile in compliance with USFDA regulations. Then, depend on your printing quantity, we will either refer you to our corporated label printers, or provide extra in house label printing services to you. We will assist you in any possible way to make your label creating experiences as seamless as possible.

 

7. What is the lead time for my order?

Since we are a small facility with flexible scheduling, and we work very closely with our customers, we have one of the fastest turnaround lead times in the industry. Depending on the raw material arrival and testing schedule, projects lead time may vary by each order. When order is confirmed, we will provide a more clear ahead lead time schedule for our customers.

 

8. Does Albert Max Inc. provide package only services?

Yes we do. Albert Max has a full automatic bottling line that runs a very high speed to fulfill your packaging needs. You could either provide your own packaging materials (to be in compliance with regulation) or choose from what we offer. We also provide blister and cartoning services for finished capsules, and sachet services for blended powder. Please make sure to provide Certificate of Analysis of your products from your direct manufacturer so we may verify the products we pack.
